Yes. Drysdale Clinic runs an appointment system. Standard appointments are for a single issue. If you need more time or have multiple issues to discuss, please book a longer appointment. We also keep a few urgent or same-day appointments available each day.
Yes, if you are a regular patient and have been seen in person in the last 12 months. We offer very brief telephone appointments for repeat prescriptions only. No other health concerns are able to be discussed during this type of appointment.
Please book an appointment to discuss your results. Reception staff are not able to provide results over the phone. For any other results or further discussion, please book a standard consultation.
To protect your privacy, we confirm at least three identifiers (such as your full name, date of birth, gender or address) before discussing any results. A Medicare number is not a valid identifier.
No. Appointments must made by via online booking system or by phone. Doctors are unable to reply to emails.

We kindly ask that all fees be settled on the day of your appointment. A late payment fee of $10 may apply if payment is not received on the day.
We accept the following payment methods: cash, cheque, credit card, debit card, and EFTPOS. Please note that a surcharge applies to all card transactions.
Appointments that are not cancelled at least two hours prior to the scheduled time may incur a non-cancellation fee of $65.
Saturday appointments are billed at private rates for all patients, including those with concession cards.
Please note that patients are responsible for lodging and claiming any WorkCover charges directly with their employer.

If you’ve registered your banking details with Medicare, our reception team will be able to process your claim on the spot. That saves you the hassle of a separate claims process and ensures you receive the rebate into your account quickly.
If your GP has suggested you have a procedure here at the clinic there with be a fee with an out of pocket expense. Your GP will discuss informed financial consent prior to booking the procedure.

We may contact you by phone or electronically. Our practice follows strict privacy protocols, including secure messaging where possible, verifying patient details, and seeking consent before emailing personal information.
We’ll explain the risks of using email and confirm your consent before sending anything. Documents will be password-protected using the first four digits of your date of birth. A copy is saved to your patient record.

If something goes wrong during your care, we follow the open disclosure process. This involves an honest conversation with you (and your family or carer if appropriate) about what happened, and what steps we’re taking in response.
