Dr. Deryn Collinson

Dr Deryn Collinson joined Drysdale Clinic in 2017 after completing her medical training at University Hospital Geelong. Deryn studied her medical degree in Belfast, Northern Ireland and went on to work in the NHS and then at a rural hospital in Zambia, Southern Africa prior to moving to Australia in 2010.

Deryn has a special interest in palliative care, youth mental health and family medicine. Deryn has a clinical diploma in palliative care. Deryn strives to provide quality professional and compassionate care for her patients.

Outside of medicine Deryn is kept busy with a husband, who is a professional trumpet player, and their 6 children.

Dr Deryn Collinson from Watson graduated from Medical School in Belfast, Northern Ireland. She worked in the National Health Service in Northern Ireland

for a couple of years before working in rural Zambia, East Africa at a church mission hospital. In the past few years Deryn has worked at University Hospital Geelong and is currently completing a clinical diploma of palliative medicine. Deryn’s professional areas of interest include palliative care and family medicine. She is happily living in Geelong with her husband and three children.
