Dr Lucas Jester

Dr Lucas is a dedicated General Practitioner who has called Victoria home for the past ten years, originally from Germany but raised in Singapore. He completed his medical degree at Melbourne Medical School and began his career at Warrnambool Hospital, where his commitment to rural healthcare earned him the “Junior Medical Officer Rural Champion” award.

Since then, Lucas has built a broad and varied clinical background, with experience across emergency medicine, general and plastic surgery, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health, paediatrics, and women’s health. He brings particular interest and expertise to sports medicine, children’s health, and skin cancer medicine and procedures, having recently completed a Graduate Diploma of Child Health to further support young patients and their families.

Alongside his clinical work, Lucas serves as a Medical Educator with the RACGP, supporting GP registrars in training as they develop their skills and confidence in general practice.

Known for his warmth and empathetic approach to patient care, Lucas is passionate about providing thorough, whole-person care to patients of all ages
